Overview

The Nature Conservancy Centre (TNC) and KFintech have joined hands to make a significant impact at the Satpura Tiger Reserve. We have inked an agreement with a shared mission – restoring the natural habitat and preserving the unique biodiversity of this remarkable reserve.

Restoring 500 Hectares by 2024

Our collective goal is ambitious yet achievable. By March 31, 2024, we aim to restore a sprawling 500 hectares of habitat in the buffer areas of the Satpura Tiger Reserve. This endeavor is a testament to our commitment to safeguarding the environment.

Four Pillars of Conservation

Our conservation efforts are structured around four key pillars:

Habitat Restoration: We are dedicated to reviving the ecosystem by restoring grasses and forage species.

Participation: We are promoting enhanced participatory planning for villages situated in fringe areas, focusing on developing local-scale plans.

Innovation: We support grassroots innovations that address local challenges, with the aim of incubating them into sustainable businesses.

Enablement: We are working closely with communities learning about restoration principles and the importance of participatory resource management.
